クニスター［クニスター］［Ｋｎｉｓｔｅｒ］
１９５２年ドイツ・ボートロプ生まれ。エッセン大学で社会教育学専攻。エッセン・フォ ルクヴァング学校でリトミックを学ぶ。学生時代から児童劇の制作に携わり、１９７８年からは作家兼作曲家として、児童劇のために作品を書くとともに放送作 家としても活躍。ＡＲＤドイツ連邦共和国公営放送連合とＺＤＦドイツ第二テレビ放送で子供向け番組を担当するとともに、ラジオドラマの音楽や映画音楽も作 曲する。「まほうつかいリリ」のシリーズは、現在１４冊刊行され、ドイツでの発行部数は１００万部を超える。１３カ国語に翻訳され出版されている。また、 クニスター自身の朗読によるＣＤやカセットが制作されている他、現在はテレビゲームも制作中である。２００４年にはテレビシリーズになることが決まってい る

Hello! That’s not me…it’s just a picture of me!

I’m an inventor of stories and music. In the course of my life as an author I ‘ve created a whole load of stories and, of course, I’ve written them down with the help of my computer.
I have a big one at home and a small one on my boat.

I turn these stories into books , cassettes CDs or computer games .

And sometimes I go on long promotion tours to present my books and songs. Maybe I’ll be passing through your country one day, ask your bookseller! If you come to one of my readings don’t forget to bring your KNISTER books along with you and get me to sign and illustrate them for you. I’m looking forward to meeting you.

My greatest love is FeZZ…..the Live Rock band I’m a member of. We’re not professionals, we just have fun making music.

Would you like to know something about how I live?
My house is in the north-west of Germany. The surrounding area is so flat that I can look out in the morning and see in the distance the people who are on their way to visit me in the evening!
